A fellow cyclist asked you "what's it all about?!"

This rider joined the Dreams Take Flight team. They participate for the physical challenge, for the passion for cycling but first and foremost they participate to bring financial support to Dreams Take Flight. This will be the seventh edition. In 2011 we had the good fortune to remit a cheque for $103 000 to Dreams Take Flight.

What is Dreams Take Flight?
Dreams take flight is a non-profit organisation made up of Canadian and American employees of Air Canada and its associated companies. It is colleagues and friends who join in their efforts to give the children a day to cherish and remember at Disney World in Florida. The trip of a lifetime full of magic and fantasy for these children who are disadvantaged either physically mentally or socially.

THE PHYSICAL CHALLENGE
On the 25th of August 2012 no matter what the weather everyone will depart from the Air Canada hangar to ride all the way to Quebec City. As one team we will overcome the day's difficulties (of which there surely will be many) and ride close to 300km in a single day. We have the priviledge of being accompanied by Gaetan Boucher, speed skating olympic champion. His support of our cause valuable and immesurable

THE FINANCIAL GOAL
The goal for each cyclist is to collect $1000 and the goal for the team is $70000. If we were just to listen to the experiences of the Dreams Take FLight  volunteers who have accompanied the children in the past, it would be enough to convince anybody that  our efforts make a huge difference to the children.
